Ghazal Alagh is CEO and founder of Mamaearth. The foundation was setted in 2016 that manufactures chemical free skin, hair and baby care products. Ghazal Alagh startup, Mamaearth was funded by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and Sequoia Capital India. For the first time, she made her appearance in the latest television show that is Shark Tank, India.
She completed her graduation from Punjab University’s BCA in 2010 and then completed an intensive summer course at the School of Visual Arts. In 2013, she also covered Figurative Art at the New York Academy of Art.

Entrepreneur Ghazal Alagh is also a professional artist. She was interested in Arts and painting from her childhood days. She used to paint walls in school as a part of the Environment project. Ghazal completed her graduation from Panjab University with information technology and started a career in corporate training with NIIT which she pursued for a few years.
In 2012 while staying in Mumbai, She rediscovered her passion for art and learned from inspiring artists like K Prakash and CS Pant in Mumbai. Towards the end of 2012, She decided to focus full time on her passion for art & moved to the Global melting pot of art in New York. Here She got a chance to work with the best in the field like Robert Armetta and Harold E Brooks. She followed this up with courses at the Artists League of New York.
Ghazal also worked on Modernism and Abstraction under John Parks at the School of Visual Arts, New York. Some of her work from this time was also chosen & showcased at the Langdon Art Gallery New York.
What makes her art unique is her love for color. Her works have been exhibited Nationally and Internationally at multiple exhibitions. She has sold an entire series of works called “Sounds of Love” in early 2014. She shares my learning with young artists through structured courses and workshops through my organization called “BEING ARTSY”.
